Sorry people.... i know my blog is bout to die. Dun blame me!!! Pharmacy is a damn it busy course!! T_T plus im involved in several clubs! i will try my best to update lar ok??:P *although no one exactly ask me to update yet!*

Anyway, remember i was troubled how should i introduce my name in uni?? guess wat? i was given a nickname after a week in uni --- PINKY!!

Here is the story.

One day, i remember vividly, 26th of September, Friday, I wore pink t shirt, pink shorts with pink slippers to cafeteria for dinner with Foo Seg Yung (Gary Foo). There i met 王八蛋 and rest of his housemates. Gary and 王八蛋are actually housemates! (or in more detail, toilet-mates) So both of them introduce me to their other housemates, who i hang out with pretty often recently! I dunnoe what to say when they ask me how should they address me.... im always stuck with that question

then i just jokingly said "just call me pinky! Hahahha, im just kidding"

CK: "I really call you pinky oh??"

Vui:"..."

After that... eveytime i meet them, i happen to be in pink!!!

Then.. i started to look around me and at my stuffs... i found alot of pink stuffs!!!

i dun intentionally buy things in pink, i just happen to choose pink unconsciously. somehow, i prefer pink than the rest of the colours without realising it!

Look at the 3 pieces of clothes i am currently hanging around my room.

Even the messages are written on pink papers, pasted on my fav purple!

My table lamp, My hair dryer, and the pink ribbon Ka Mann gave me on my last bday on a bottle of ESpirit (she asked me to keep it forever, and i did!), my Loreal hair treamen thingy and the "Happy birthday" which sat only Baskin Robbins cake for my 19th bday.

Ok, as i was taking pictures of pink stuff i have in my room, i spot this!

Even shampoo and detergent i bought happened to come in pink packaging. EVEN my BRUSH AND SPONGE are pink!

Oh... not to forget my dearest Pink Dell XPS !!:D

i dunno what to blog about! no inspirations.... even the previous post was also very cinchai.

Im very very occupied recently.

Every Tuesday, we have practical session for the WHOLE day, 9.30-4. SO on every Monday, we have to prepare and read alot bout the practical for the next day, hence Monday, i am not free.

After Tuesday practical, we have to write a lab report. An excruciating one. Then on Wednesday, i have another half-day practical, which i personally love so much, that is making of medicine! Again, research is necessary, Hence Tuesday, i am not free.

Ok, im going to be late for class... if i elaborate why i am so occupied for every single day.

Generally, i have to read up alot to follow up for every lecture.

Hello, everybody. I just had my 19th Bday last Saturday...

Oct 3 Friday,

My grandma was celebrating her 71th bday at seria. I love our family gatherings.. and i miss them. Its one of those things i always anticipate. I heard they play Bingo again :(

Everyone paid $10 to buy a piece of ticket with 5x5 squares of numbers, and balls of numbers were to drawn out to show which number was to be cancelled. If you get a Bingo( a horizontal/vertical/diagonal row of numbers crossed out), you'll be the winner. The money collected is then divided among winners.

Apparently, my brother was pissed off that day, because none of his numbers in his list was called for a very long time. When he finally got a number, everybody cheered. As sore loser as his sister XD.

Technology is really great for outstation students like me. I was able to be part of the event, sort of coz couldnt play the Bingo, through Skype.

I was really bored staring at the screen, eyeing them in envy as they played Bingo. Finally, the game finished, and i told my cousin to "ANGKAT SAYA!!!" so i can look around and meet people in the house. Doesnt this picture looks like im dead?-_- like taken in a chinese funeral.

Cake time! I was "placed" on the table during the event. This is my view.

This was taken when i imitated to blow out the candles. The Skype lagged at that time that they couldnt see me on the screen, so they waited like that for my face to appear. When i blew the candles, someone put out the candles.

Then i cut the cake, they were helping me to move the knife. Haha.

I onlined till well past midnight, waiting for him to greet me. No.. He was surprisingly not online.

I got a call, from one of my coursemates, Mr Wang Ba Dan(王八蛋). He and his housemates sang me 3 versions of bday songs ; English, Chinese, Cantonese. I forgot how it went, but they said they were coming over to greet me personally in my hostel room. I was in PJ, whoever has ever skype with me after i bathe will now how bad i look:P

4 boys, who live 15 mins away, came with joy! They brought 2 lighters, asked me to make a wish and blow the lighter off. Then 王八蛋 gave me this, present from the 4 of them.

My first thought was.... WHat the HELLL??

But im still happy they made such journey at past midnight just to wish me a happy bday!

Went to Sunway Pyramid with KK frens during the day. Lunch at OMG-I-Cant-Believe-ITS-So-Expansive-restaurant Tony Roma's. We took photos stickers.. generally, alot of pictures were taken, crazy ones, cute ones, weird ones, disgusting ones, artistic ones..... But they are all still with my darling Terence:( (Cassandra, Terence brought a surprise gift --->Daniel Koh!!!!:D)

KaMann, Zingwen, Roger, Terence and Terry bout me a Baskin Robbins' cake!!!:D but they put 2 candles!!! like im twenty:( no lot im just 19th!!

Then just random photos we took around the mall. I know Terry doesnt like this photo, because he's smiling like this. But i presonally like to see him smiling like this, coz he reminds me of a boy i love.

Then later at night, i went to mamak store with Ryan, Terence, Kah Mann and Zingwen. i slept over at Kah mann's hostel! 2 of us on a single bed! hehehe Kah Mann is very caring^^

Anyway, i received the most "whatever" bday wish from someone i had trusted and treasured for the last 6-7 years. He gave me an Email entitled "Happy Birthday" with nothing, NOTHING inside at 11.40++ pm on my bday. I wasn't heartbroken, but i was angry, i was really mad. Mr. Woody, im sure ur aint that woody, why do u have to do this? Ur a huge huge stinky piece of wood~!

还好有你，王八蛋！

Xiang ron gave me this as a present -_- south park version of Me. wellP i like it :D although im sure i aint that plump.

And this too! Thank Q See Xiang ron:P

Max, WanKher, Roger and Terry gave me this bear/dog. I still cant decide if its a bear or dog. NOw i have somthing to hug everynight! I was pretty upset i couldnt bring my stuff toys from Brunei:P

Most important of all, i have 2 teddy bears from 王八蛋。He came to my hostel room at midnight of 6 Oct. ^^ he said he bought 2, incase the other feels lonely.

He also gave me 2 small and cute notepads. I still dunnoe what to do with them!

And my first and only card or my 19th bday. To Gervenne??? urgh -_- hate ppl calling me that:P

hm... Half an hour more to my 19th bday.

Today, is my lunar bday actually.

I have a very bad feeling bout this bday actually. sigh.
I've been thinking of this bday for quite sometime. I think it might be a lonely one, coz i'll be only attending 2 weeks of uni. Oh wait, i didnt know we were going to have a week of holiday for Raya. Now, its more possible that none of my coursemate would know its my bday.

so.. i thought of hanging out with my frens in kk, after all my bday is a saturday. Everyone should be free. I just wanna catch up with them all, and to make sure im not going to stay in my room for a day like this. I wanted to go Sunway Lagoon! That'll be a cool way to celebrate, to get ur adranaline rush in your blood. To scream my sadness and worries away, to shout for a new beginning, to feel fresh and alive again after every exhilirating ride.

But, no, plan was modified. We'll go shopping and have lunch at Sunway Pyramid, and we'll go clubbing in Euphoria, and I'll stay over at my friend's hostel. Maybe i'll have dinner with my Brunei friends, beacuse Derick came for vacation, and apparently they want a meet-up in KL. Everything sounds fine, not as exciting as sunway lagoon, but descent enough for me to anticipate.

But no, again, dinner with Brunei friends just got cancelled. Clubbing might not be possible. and he, who is always online throughout every midnight recently, where has he gone today, tonight, now?

Will tomorrow be a better day?

1. We were both born in October. She's 2 days older than me, im 2 days younger than her. We had many photos of cutting the bday cake together. But i didnt bring them over with me:(

2. We were living at the same street. This is a photo of us sitting on the brick wall of her house. We spent many many happy, care-free afternoons together after school. We:

Cycling

intruding neighbours' houses

climbing the neighbour's swing and made many styles. ( i remembered monkey bar, and the other one which i used to get stucked, and Cheryl had to guide me to unstuck myself)

We collected weeds and grinded them to make a medicine for ears.(see, i was already trying to be a pharmacist)

We catched grasshoppers and removed their jumping legs.

We caught the largest grasshopper u ever, ever seen! but it died soon after.

We played basketball, badminton....
Watched Matilda over and over again (i was forced to)
Called the next door boys names: Anderson-Underwear, a tall guy-giraffe...etc
enjoyed snacks together.
made pizza with pitta bread
explored the mysterious temple at the hills behind our house
tried to cycle beyond our street, but never dared.

Welcome to The University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus, where i am currently attending a 2+2 years Master of Pharmacy(MPharm) course. This beautiful campus is located in a very rural area named Semenyih, a part of Kajang town in Negeri Sembilan of West Malaysia.

This is what you would see once you enter the school's vincity through its main gate. A pedestrian bridge linking you to the infamous clock tower, which is a symbol of University of Nottingham. They have similar sceneries in its Uk and China Campus; a lake and a clock on a white building.

The lake is huge! its really beautiful with fountains and jogging tracks. Ample trees provide shades to maintain the coolness of the air around the lake. There are some ducks too. I realised the brown ducks are always together in a group (right) and vice versa for the white ducks (left). Racism does apply for ducks too eh?

However, they do enjoy food together. I took this picture while feeding them with biscuits.

I love the fact that this university is always doing maintenance and upgrades to the buildings and facilities. This is a drawing of the Student Association buildng would look like after the renovation. They are going to build another lake behind it and make the area between the new pond and the building a hang out place for students with many round tables with umbrellas. The style is very similar to Coffee bean's outdoor cafe.

Inside the Student Association, there are facilities for students, such as cafeteria, book shop, convenience shop, phone shop, IT shop, Photocopy shop, Hair salon, Atm machines, Pool tables, a hall with disco light, a really beautiful, huge dance studio with excellant sound system, as well as 2 TV rooms, each has a complete home theatre system and Astro decorder.

This is the block im currently living in. The one the aarow is pointing at on the road.

This is my little modest room which i really do adore. It's much better than what i've been imagining. Very well-furnished and satisfying.

That bucket is wear i put my laundry, and the basket is where i put my toilet needs.

Do you guys notice there is no door knob?What the hell right? That one is just a lock.

This is the picture of my window before i wash my clothes.

This is the picture after i washed my clothes. One problem of my room is that the window is facing north, means i do not get any sunshine invading through my window and heat me up. Which is good, i know. I was happy bout it at first till i realised i have problem drying my clothes.

This is how i dry my socks! With the fan just above them, they do can dry very fast in this way.

Toilets... 2 cubicle on the right for shower, and 2 on the left are with toilet bowls.

Here are the sinks, very public-toilet style.

I shall now show you something i dislike bout this university in the video below.

The clock goes dong-dong-dong every hour, from 8am to 7 pm everyday. It strikes once at 1 o'cock, twice at 2 o'clock and so on. You can bet how annoying it is during 12 noon! Below is a picture of me shutting my ears, not acting cute, ok?

Oh IS ppl, do you guys know Roger decided to join Nottingham too? He said im too irresistable!
Ok, im just kidding ~~^^ He stayed at Max's house for his Visa thingy.

Can you guys figure out the function of this leveled depressions in the middle of the teaching buildings? I've been really curious about this weird structure when i come across with it in photos from the website. I couldnt figure it out, till someone told me few days ago.

ok, i know i was being lame, hehehe, but we had fun during this photo shoot.

There's a very nice fountain middle of all the teaching building. Pleasant place to date, honestly.

Attempted for a jump shot, but failed. This is the reason i looked so wet in the very first photo of this post.

My room is very near to the sports complex, which is equiped with 2 gym rooms, a squash court, 3 badmintons courts, one huge football field, 5 outdoor basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, one futsal court, 1 volleyball court, 1 netball court and a swimming pool.

I didnt take picture of the pool because there were people swimming there. I only took a photo of one of the gym room, coz the other one was occupied by a guy making weird sounds while lifting weights... like "AH.......Eyyyahhh... arghhhh....."

This football field supposingly comes with running tracks around it as well. Maybe, they will make it in the coming years.

I received my lab coat and safety specs the other day. So, this is what you guys are going to see after 4 years when you guys visit me at work:P

I should have my hair tied, unroll the sleeves, button up to the neck, wear long pants. I should wear shoes too, actually.

Hm.... i guess i would know what to wear if there's a costume party:P i'll be a pharmacist! But it would awful to wear like that if the party is full with sexy hotties.
